Abstract

As the part of area collaboration activities, the creative educational projects opened to the region community such as mechatronics lecture for children become significant in recent year. The authors tried to lecture on the robot assembling exercise to parent and child in the area. The target participant is junior high school student and parent. In this event, the students assembled the line tracing autonomous robot by using the programmable robotics product named LEGO Mindstorms. The participant enjoyed the event for two days. This paper shows the contents of the exercise, response of the participant and others.
